In compliance with DA Department Order No. 06 series of 2021, the Food Development Center effectively organized the inaugural National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) for DA Laboratories in February and March 2023.

The workshops were led by Dr. Nicasio J. Agustin as the resource speaker, in partnership with Winrock International, and participated by delegates from various national labs and ILDs actively engaged in defining the vision, mission, objectives, and priority programs and activities (PPAs) for DA labs.
